Python Developer Remote Europe to €70k

Python Developer / Software Engineer (Python Scrapy Data Web). Would you like to progress your career at a global technology company where you can take ownership and make an impact?

As a Python Developer you'll develop the web scrapers for the core product, a cutting edge valuation and forecasting system for the real estate market. You'll be orchestrating dozens of daily and hourly data pipelines and scrapers with millions of geospatial data points using advanced technology such as Scrapy, Spark on k8s, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, Docker (you don't experience with it all).

You will collaborate with global colleagues across data engineering to automate the deployment of scrapers on a cloud architecture; build tools to lower the cost of developing scrapers on a new website; define strategies for monitoring the validity of the extracted data and look for ways to improve test strategies to optimise the calls made to a website.

You'll join an upbeat team based in Central Berlin with casual dress code, free fruit and a friendly team atmosphere (or you can work fully remotely from anywhere in Europe or do a hybrid of office and work from home).

Requirements:

• You have strong Python development skills including experience with Scrapy
• You have a good knowledge of web scraping
• You're collaborative and have good English language communication skills
